BPerfect Cosmetics was created by Brendan McDowell in Belfast in 2013. Brendan wanted to create a range of cosmetics that were easy to use, versatile, that would change beauty routines forever.
Brendan made an appearance on Ireland’s Dragons’ Den in March 2017 where the brand received praise from all five Dragons and secured an offer from two. More recently, Brendan has been nominated as Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year – an amazing achievement especially after only 7 years in business.

1.1 An ambitious quality approach
THE FORMULA
Our R&D department selects from hundreds of potential sources the active ingredients and natural extracts that meet our requirements of safety and efficacy. All the raw materials we use are monitored early in the process.
Promoting a transparent, healthy beauty, since 2011 we have offered a range of oil showers formulated with 98% naturally-derived ingredients.
Sure of the importance of the combination sensoriality-naturalness, this need is now extended to most of our products.

The tests: Before marketing, the safety and efficacy of all new formulas are tolerance tested under dermatological supervision. Our shower gels are also specifically tested to check that they are easily biodegradable and have no negative impact on the environment.
THE PERFUME
Fragrance selection is a key step. We work with the leading perfume designers in France and worldwide to propose new and original notes that are characteristic and long-lasting on skin.
PRODUCTION :
Cottage products are manufactured in compliance with Best Manufacturing Practice standards (Iso 22716 norm) and strictly checked throughout the production chain to guarantee irreproachable quality. Our shower gel formulas and packagings are produced and assembled in France.
PACKAGING :
From 2010, Cottage is concerned about limiting the environmental impact of its products. Following an ecodesign study, the company has focused since 2010 on minimizing bottle weight as much as possible. Thus, we save up to 15% on plastic per bottle, and we are also developing large sizes.
In a similar manner, we encourage the use of recyclable materials (PP, PE), use 100% recyclable boxes and work with “green” printers that are Imprim’vert certified.To bring you effective products while guaranteeing optimal harmlessness, Cottage is committed to an ambitious quality approach throughout the product elaboration cycle.
